Peer Review: All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review to ensure impartiality, quality, and originality.
Editorial Independence: The editorial decisions are made solely based on academic merit, without influence from sponsors, advertisers, or other external bodies.
Ethical Standards: Authors, editors, and reviewers must adhere to COPE guidelines and international standards for research integrity.
Conflict of Interest: All stakeholders are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence judgment.
Plagiarism Screening: All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection tools before peer review.
JICLT is a free open-access journal; all articles are available to readers without subscription fees.
Published content is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing reuse, distribution, and adaptation with proper attribution.
Authors do not pay any Article Processing Charges (APCs) unless stated otherwise in special cases.
Authors are encouraged to share underlying data supporting their research to enhance transparency and reproducibility.
Data should be deposited in recognized repositories, and a link or DOI must be provided in the manuscript.
Sensitive or confidential data must be handled in accordance with ethical and legal requirements.
JICLT ensures permanent availability and preservation of published articles through:
Digital repositories
Publisher’s online archive
Third-party services such as LOCKSS and CLOCKSS (planned for future integration)
Articles remain accessible even if the journal ceases publication.
Authors may deposit preprints, accepted manuscripts, and published versions in:
Institutional repositories
Subject-based repositories
Personal or departmental websites
Proper citation to the official journal version is required.
JICLT accepts manuscripts that have been previously made available as preprints on non-commercial platforms.
Authors must declare the existence of a preprint at the time of submission.
Preprints should be cited in the references where relevant.
Minor Errors: Corrected directly in the online version with a date-stamped note.
Major Errors: Addressed through a formal Corrigendum or Erratum.
Retractions: Issued for content that violates ethical standards, contains falsified data, or has significant flaws.
Updates: In cases of new developments, an “Update” notice may be issued.
Complaints regarding editorial decisions, peer review conduct, or ethical concerns must be submitted in writing to the Editor-in-Chief.
Appeals of rejection decisions are allowed when authors can provide strong evidence of unfair treatment or procedural error.
Complaints are handled in accordance with COPE recommendations and reviewed by an independent advisory panel when necessary.
Authors should ensure their methods and data are described in sufficient detail to allow independent verification.
Where applicable, raw data, code, and supplementary material should be made available through public repositories.
Exceptions apply for sensitive data that cannot be shared for ethical or legal reasons.
Republishing is not allowed unless explicitly authorized by the editorial board.
Exceptions: Expanded versions in books or edited volumes are allowed, provided the original publication in JICLT is acknowledged.
Translations into other languages are permitted with proper credit to the original article and authors.
